Metrostaff and Metris announce the agreement in the licensing of ARCO QUICK,
Metris and Metrostaff announce the signature of a licensing contract for the source code of ARCO QUICK, this agreement fits in the common strategy to guarantee a better control of the software with the issue of new releases on a regular base.
Metrostaff is now in the position to further develop and update the ARCO CAD product range with new capabilities, as hardware connectivity and CAD data processing.
Part of the agreement includes the integration of Metris laser scanners in
ARCO CAD software.
Both the OEM and the End User will get benefit from this agreement with the optical inspection capabilities integrated in
ARCO CAD software for CMM metrology.

ARCOCAD Off Line combines to the simplicity and completeness of use of ARCOCAD a new possible field of use, that virtual. ARCOCAD Off Line allows to the operator to realize to verify complete programs of measure without the necessity to use a measuring machine. Through ARCOCAD Off Line it is possible:

put the CAD model of the particular inside a virtual coordinate measure machine

to position it inside the volume plots

to define the configuration probe for the measure

to realize a complete program of measure

to perform a virtual run of the built cycle, having punctual indications around speed of execution, encumbrances etc.

ARCOCAD OFF LINE why:

An operator of CMM devotes part of the time to the purpose of “to guard” the activities of measure developed by the CMM.
Also if the system of Off Line part programming is not used every time, if it's necessary to program a new detail of done the activity of testing it is suspended. ARCOCAD Off Line allows to also perform the job of part planning without the support of the CMM.
The start up of a cycle realized in formality Off Line can ask for least once if compared to the necessary time to the realization of the same through the classical techniques of planning “self teaching ”
The possibility to modify in simple way on the cycle of measure in phase of realization, increases from the operator the predisposition to constantly improve the realized programs.
Often of some manufactured articles the mathematic model is possessed, but the physical model will be available only at the end of the productive cycle. The necessary time for the testing so arithmetically comes added to the times of the production. It is possible through the part planning off line to reduce these times, of fact the time of testing can practically be limited to the alone run-time of the measure cycle.
With ARCOCAD Off Line it is possible also realize the testing of the reports.
